I was introduced to Jiu Jitsu in 2005 and immediately fell in love with the sport. I was amazed with how another person could actively control me, against my will, and lead me down the path to my own demise haha.
Since that time I have been able to learn from some of the best minds in the BJJ world including Saulo Ribeiro, Xande Ribeiro, Regis Lebre, Andre Maracaba and Brian Rago. These people have been paramount in shaping the Jiu Jitsu student and teacher that I have become and have given me a solid foundation to pull from.
A brief list of accomplishments include: multiple time NAGA Expert Winner; multiple time Grapplers Quest Expert Winner; Grapplers Quest Absolute Pro Division Winner; 3rd Place Pan-Am No-GI (Purple Belt); Pan-Am Champion (Purple Belt).
I received my Black Belt in 2016 and since then have learned more Jiu Jitsu than I ever thought possible. It is true when they say Black Belt is just the beginning!
